Updates on Dialer Project

The 'broad band dialer' project has been kickstarted effective Sunday

The first meeting of the project team was held on Sunday.

Currently, the requirements and features of the various dialers from the various
broadband service providers are being studied.

Devcon Updates

Everything for DEVCON is going well and we got all the things for sponsors and arun is back and i hope i will try to meet him today and make up the things. The design for T-Shirts is almost ready and today i need to concentrate on my talk for tomorrow.

Updates of Microsoft DEVCON 2005

The things are going well for DEVCON and we got the final accpetance from the sponsors. I am planning to meet one of the sponsor in the evening and make final confirmation from them and take their sponsorhip details and their logos and make the work ready.

Some i hope if arun returns back all the things will go in more pace and we make DEVCON a grand success.

My activity on 28th

Today morning i met Pahni akka and Bavagaru who came from Vijaywada and then i went to my work and then in the afternoon Amrita from St.Anns had called me and she had asked me for a workshop in her college and she said she want it on 1st April and i said it is okay and i had confirmed it for April 1st 8:30 to 10:30 am and then i informed others also abt the Workshop and they all said it is okay for all of them and then i saw geetesh mail he said that the Logo that i had given to him of vasudeva wont be useful and he need a logo with high resolution and i contacted those guys and they said they will be sending me by EOD and then they had come up with a differant proposal and i had mailed the core abt their proposal and theni go the confrimation from other guys of the core also abt them and then i am planning to take the money from them and the sponsor part of DEVCON is okay.

Evening i went to Nani Mava's place and met ammama and then returened her the saree and then i took tamrind and then left to Kukatpally for peddamma's place and then we had discussion regarding the Africa Job things with chinni anna and we had nice biryani and then we had chat for some time and later peddamma informed a differant proposal, which i never expected and which needs approval from DAD and she asked my decsion and then i said it's upto my DAD to take such decsions and i dont have any thinking abt that. i left from peddamma's place at 10:30 and reached home.

Building VAL site

After the Core meet i went to saifi's place, then i had food and then we started building VAL site. and we had built upto certain extend and we made the basic template and we cld not set the format and settings properly. some saifi managed to get the Logo but we cld not get the same logo that is there on their site and then he made ceratin chnages to layout and somehow we had managed to make it okay. we need to make more changes to build it properly.

Microsoft User Group Core meet on 27th March

As today is sunday i have to go for MUGH Core meet so i woke up early and went to saifi's place as he had asked some of the books. i had given him the books and then went to MUGH Core meet at Cafe Coffee Day. By the time i had reached there MR.Anand From MSis there and other members present are Sudhakar from MS, Pratap from MS, Anjana from Satyam, Raghu from Brigade and Geetesh and Umesh.
We had discussed regarding the DEVCON which we are planning to organize on 10th of April. what are the works that each of us need to do and how much work had been completed. we had discussion on what we need to do with vasudeva sponsor as he is asking us a lot. and they are okay with us and we can go ahead we planned and then we had discussion regarding the Ineta sponsorship and we had discussion regarding the Speakers and the talk that are happening on that day.

we had discussion on the posters and T-shirts. how they shld be printed and what logos we need to keep on the T-shirt and how shld we plan with the banner and other things. the meeting lasted for about 4hrs and we had planned to meet next sunday i.e 3rd April as it wld be the crucial Sunday for DEVCON.

i was assigned the work to meet the sponsors and take their logo and get the money from them and other work like banner work and others.

Broad Band Dialer Work Started

We had started the Broad Band Dialer work and we are looking into the feasibility study of various dialers available in the market and come up with a dialer which has all the good features that are there in differant dialers and compatible with differant environments. Everyone of us are looking into differant dialers that are available in the market and i hope we can make the best dialer for the market.

My actvity on 21st

I was quite busy today in doing my Part of the work for DEVCON

From regular work i went to home at 2:00Pm and then i went Arun and collected the Printouts of Devcon Sponsors and then i went and met Naukri Branch Manager Mr.Niraj at 4:00 pm whom i met earlier and he said they had recently sponsored an HRD Conference after i met him earlier and he said he will get back to his head office in Noida if i can send him a soft copy and he will speak to his noida counterpart and get back to me. Then i had called arun and infromed to send him the softcopy of the sponsorship document.

Then i went and met reliance Web Worlds incharge Mr.Madhav and he had introduced me to Marketing Head of AP operations in reliance and i had discussion with him all the things that are happening and he said to me that they cannot sponsor money directly and if they want any
posters and scrible pads and files and some other material he wld help in that regard and i had informed him that we already got them and he said i will think of it and asked me to call him tommorrow evening so that he wld be informing his decision.


Later i went to Times of india Office where i met Times jobs incharge Mr.Joe and his response is good and he said he will get back to me by tommorrow after speaking to his counter parts so that he wld be infroming his decsion

Then i met one of Real Estate i.e Vasudeva Relators an NRI Funded company Organization. I had given the the document and they are quite positive and they said they will sending the soft copy to their MD in US and after getting his approval they wld convey their decision. they asked more abt the T-shirts sposorship what all we give them. can u give us some 5 min time to tell abt ourselves and they also asked will u give T-Shirts to all attendes or not.

Then i was completely tired by that time due bright sun and got to take rest for some time and then i went to saifi's place and took rest for some time and then i actually dont know the banner guy and he had took me to the banner guy we met the guy and i asked him a differant banner sizes and he suggested that a size 9*31/2 wld be good as he said more smaller one than this will not fit devcon logo and it wld not be good appearence and he said if u order it will take
atleast 3 days.

i asked him the rates and he said 200/- per meter and that will be on white silk cloth. he said he wld give us the coloured logos and all. one more thing he had asked is he want a colour print of the logos and the banner with that size costs 600/-. the guy name is Mr.Afzal. I took the contact number from that guy and i was very tired and want to have some food to get myself activated.

Then i and Saifi went to Darmakaran Road to have panipuri and some chat then saifi asked for info abt the car he is planning then i had called my cousin and i took saifi to his office and then they both had discussions and then wew had ice cream at masala then that was somewhat good and it gained some strength to me.

then i thought of completing my assignment for VAL and then i had mailed the MUGH Core and sudhakar and arun what all had happened and then i cld make up more time. i immedeiately reached home and slept.

It is very hectic these days to go out in HOT summer.

this completes the work assigned to me.

if u guys can confirm me with the banner and if we have colour print
of the document then that work we can order for that guy and
regarding the sponsorships i am waiting for the final word from all
the guys that i had met.

My activity on 20th March 2005

Went to saifi's Place at 9:00 am and met narender, radhika and Jilani discussed with them for some time and saifi is guiding them on their project in Dialer and i was there for some time and then went to Core group meet and then went to Core Group Meet and then returned back to saifi's place and took my books prepared for the WAP session and then had some food at saifi's place and then i went to ST.Anns College and then gave sesion on WAP for abt 5hrs and then i was completely tired as i was not acquinted to speak for such a long time and that too continously and then had some discussion with Amritha, HOD of MCA at St.Anns for abt an hr on differant topics and then we had some Cool drinks and snacks and then i left to home and we had partied with nice Chicken Biryani and Chicken curry and watched Bewafaa.

MUGH Core Meet

Today i went to Microsoft User Group Core meet at 10:00 am at Minerva Coffee Shop and it started at 10:30 and the other members present are Arun frm Accenture, Saurabh frm Microsoft, Pratap frm Microsoft, Sudhakar frm Microsoft, Geetesh, Umesh, rajasekhar and few other guys. the main motive of the meet is to discuss abt the DEVCON planned for next month 10th at Chip and the discussion went very well and everybody had come up with their ideas to make devcon a grand success and it was quite good and interactive. that lasted upto 12:00 noon.

My Talk on WAP at St.Anns

I gave 5 hrs talk at St.Anns College for women on WAP for the students today. it is quite encouraging as the girls actually know a bit of basics of XML and i can go a head in good pace and that went very well and i felt happy that their HOD and students are seriously writing to what i am saying them. I feel that's good. They even asked me a talk on the technologies i actaully work, i said if possible i would definetly do that. it wld be more help if u can suggest our students with ur experiences and i had a nice talk with HOD of the MCA department and she was quite impressed with my talk. thanks for the support from students and staff for requesting me for the lecture.

Guest Lecture on WAP at St.Anns College

I was requested by the HOD of St.Anns College for Women, Mehdipatnam to give a guest lecture on WAP to the students. she has been asking me since long time and i cld not make it up and some how i had accepted her proposal that i wld be giving it on saturday or sunday and she agreed to that, and today afternoon i am planning to give the guest lecture there in that college.

Participation at MESCO

I am planning to particpate at MESCO institute of computer science in the talk to be given by Saifi and Namita there. I along with narender are going to reach the place today at 9:30 am.

Planning to Upgrade one of System

I am planning to upgrade on of my Systems so that i can use them for other purposes but i when i enquired it is costing much. let's see how can i reolve this.

My Visit to " MY HYDERABAD MY DESTINY IT CONCLAVE "

It's great Pleasure for me to be present at " MY HYDERABAD MY DESTINY IT CONCLAVE " . I feel vrey sorry that i could not make up in the morning as i had my general work schedules and i had missed the Keynote address given by Mr.Ramalinga Raju, Chairman, Satyam Computer Services Ltd and then there is a Inaugral Function by Mr. Y. S.Rajsekhar Reddy, C.M. of A.P and then there is speech from Mr B.V.Naidu, Head of STPI and then Mr. Bob Hoekstra, MD, Philips Software. These were the sessions that had happened in the morning and i missed all of them and in particular i had missed a lot the session of Mr. Bob. i heard from friends that the Bob Session was good and it is some thing differant, getting more applauds from the audience.

I had attended the sessions after the Lunch and it started on with " Debate of the Day " which was anchored by Arnab Goswami, Vice president and editor of TV News division of Times of India and the Topic is " Cyberabad Vs Hyperabad ". In this the speakers were Mr.Subroto Bagchi, Coo, Mind Tree and Mr.Romi Malhotra, M.D, Dell International Services who were against Cyberabad and for Hyperabad and the Dr.Santanu paul, General manager, Virtusa ( India) and Mr. Ajay Sawhney, Secreatary were for Cyberabad and not Hyperabad. The discussion was good and what i felt is that there shld not be more emphasis on Bangalore and shld not degrade hyderabad. We need to accept the things like Bangalore is IT Capital of India from long time and might not be there for ever and is getting a huge competion from Hyderabad, which is growing in a rapid pace in IT and ITES Sectors and i do accpet that there certain facts that government is just saying but not implementing them.

I asked the principal secretary about the Jawahar Knowledege Centre which he had specified it in his debate and he had forwarded me to Mr.Subba Rao who is taking care of it. I just want to ask them that there is more hype in that Jawahar Knowledge Centre and the Girl students who are being trained were not told properly and they are only just given training on some open source technologies and help them create some web pages and once they were selceted they were given rigirious training on them and then they need to teach the same in differant colleges until they get palced in a company. if they are not placed in a company then they need to continue as a trainer in differant colleges. some of the girls had asked me abt the suggestion regarding this and i suggested them not go with it as they have good future in developement side. I later spoke to MR.Subba Rao, Chief Information Officer to Governement of A.P and i cld not get a concrete reply on this.

Then started the pannel discussion on " Human Resource and Infrastructure, and the pannelists are J.C.Mohanty, principal Secretary, IT, Govt. of AP and Mr. Srini Koppolu M.D,Microsoft, Ninad Karpe, M.D, C.A and MR.Srikant Sunderrajan, CTO, Cognizant. The discussion went were well and ideas of these people were too excellent and i liked the idea of Mr.Karpe's son who said intrestingly that we need to have free broad band connection for each home, that's too good and i liked the idea of it. The discussion went very well and it is too good.

Then we had some Tea Break where i had chat with Srini Koppolu, M.D, Microsoft on Microsoft plans in area of RFID which is concerned with my area of interest and in which we are doing a lot of research and Srini said we will get in touch regarding the RFID Research as Microsoft is planning to start research in RFID. This a good interaction with srini and we had discussed on lot of topics with him.

Then started with Pannel discussion by eminenet academics. The pannelists are Sabyasachi Mitra from ISB, Prof Sadagopan of IIIT Bangalore, Prof Govindarajulu of IIIT Hyderabad and G.Subba Rao, CIO Govt of AP and the principal of Oakridge International School. Some comments made by Prof from IIIT, Bangalore are good and to be taken into consideration and some part of Discussion went on reading the info from net it was not that much more than reading facts from net.

Then we have the guest of Honour for Valedictory Function MR. Narra Chandra Babu Naidu and he had given a good presentation of his findings in IT and his involvement in bringing IT to Hyderabad and we need be all thank full in this regard. as no body knows what IT is and he is the guy who brought IT in Hyderabad and he had created a place for Hyderabad in world map. His efforts had brought many fruits to AP that we are enjoying today and we should all remember his great and good efforts.

I had some discussions with MR.Naidu and with MR. Suren Poruri, Implementation Manager and Mr. Manoj Tiwari from euclid, and these guys are quite cool and were quite intresting with the work we are doing and are also quite impressed with the work we are doing and like to have an association with us. nice to meet such good people.

That's a great experience for me to meet all the industry Leads from differant companies and had nice discussion with them and we should all be thankful to Times of India for condcuting such a event in coordination with Virtusa and others.

Events such as like this should happen as they focus the growth of IT in Hyderabad.

I personally thank Times of India for sending me an Invitation for the Conclave and u need to go up with conclaves like this to bring focus of IT in Hyderabad and bring it International Level and more popular and attract more investment to Hyderabad and make Hyderabad as the IT Capital of INDIA.

Community Meet with IE Team

Its great Experience to meet IE Team particaularly to see Anand and Team's Work. They really did a great work. I never expected that we can do this much in IE. That's great and good.

Community Roundtable with S Somasegar, Coporate V.P of Microsoft

All the community Members of MUGH went to roundtable conference with S.Somasegar corporate vice president of the Developer Division at Microsoft Corporation. I went to Microsoft at around 5:30 pm and i thought i was late and by the time i was there the things were not yet started and i had nice chat with umesh, anirudh and sohail and others.

Lot of members from Developer Community and Student Community were present there and from MUGH Sudhakar, Arun, Satya, Anand krishnan, Anjana, rajsekhar, umesh and sasidhar kalagara and others were present. and from student community represented by Jankiram MSV ( Academic Evangelist) and Student Ambassadors like Anirudh, Sohail and Vikram were present and the meet with him was started at around 5:45 pm at Conference Room at the Lower Ground Floor (CFALG215), Microsoft India R&D Pvt. Ltd., Behind ISB Campus, Manikonta, Jagir Village, Gachibowli - 500046.

Mr.Somasegar a brief introduction of himself and what they are doing in Visual Studio Team and then sudhakar started with a brief intro to MUGH and its activities and abt the clarity of VS2005 and a bit confusion among devlopers and then Arun asked about smart clients and later a Guy from Microsoft asked abt VC++ and later jani representing student community had asked the some queries. then satya from Vortex had presented a business case study abt the mail he had received from ISB guys and then i had asked abt the migration options and interoperability options of Java1.1. and Visual Studio .NET and then there were lot of last last questions and then group had taken some snaps with mr somasegar and then we had good discussion and some snacks and then we left to our places around 7:00 pm.

Gave my bike for 2nd Service

Gave my Bike for Second Service and the pick up is now more better than before. that's cool.

Went Coffee Day

I met Chinni in the evening and he will be leaving to Nuzvid and i had formal chat with him for some time then i met Jilani and then left to Chandanagar and met Sobhan Babu and then back to home and we went to Coffee Day and we spent some time there, all our room mates had nice coffee and then we were back home.

Completed all formalities for opening a/c

We had completed all formalities of opening an account with ICICI Bank and the a/c will be operated from next week.

Went to Saifi's Place

i went to saifi's place and we had some discussions regarding the bank thing and we went to bank and submitted all the detail and then we left to saif's house and later i got my hutch activated with GPRS facility and then we went to Nagh friends house to give him things that he can take for nagh and then we were back home and had nice chicken and stuff.

Umesh Came to my house

After I and umesh left from aruns place we went to Dabha got some food and cool drinks and we went to my place and then we had the food and then we had chat for some time and then umesh infromed me abt some things which i dont know and he made register for orkut and then we had some discussions and then he is at my place till 7:30 pm and then i dropped umesh at Miyapur and we all went for Dinner at Gardenia.

Played Cricket at aruns Place

i Umesh and arun went to Arun's house and we played cricket for sometime and then we had some formal chat and then we had seen Longhorn Video and Realizing Potential Video and then we had some chat and had a look at XBOX CDS and all and then we left from Arun's Place.

ATTENDED CORE GROUP MEET OF MUGH

I had attended the Microsoft User Group, Hyderabad (MUGH) at Minerva Coffee Shop at 10:30. i met umesh there at 9:30 and we had some snacks at Coffee day and we then went to Minerva and we cld not find anyone of the core members available there and we are just having some chating and Raghu from Brigade came and then Arun from accenture and then rajsekhar from Infotech and then Vikram came and we started the Formal Discussion abt DEVCON ( A confernce for Developers ). Then Sudhakar came and then we had discussion on the date and decided finally to conduct DEVECON on 2nd April as 1st April will be MUGH 2nd anniversary and we can conduct both of them together and go ahead with both of them together. Then geteesh, anjana and anand came and we had discussion on sponsorships and other things and finally we departed at 12:30.

Dad Visited Hyderabad

Dad visited Hyderbad today on Andhra Bank work and we had nice lunch at Fishland and then we went to Nagamuneshwara rao garu's house and then we went to Amarnath Mava's house and then to Nani mava's house and i droped dad at Lakadikapool and then went to saifi's place and then we had discussion on Bhoj Reddy talk and then we had Nice Biryani and then i was back to home.

we had nice meet at melting moments

I, saifi and Namita had nice meeting at meltin moments and we had nice ice creams and nice chat till 12:00 pm. Good ice cream and discussions.

Leave to Office for 2 DaYS

I was on leave for Office for 2 Days as i am suffering from Severe neck Pain and docotor advised me to take X-Ray as i am suffering from it very frequently and i was advised to use neck collar and take rest for some time.
