Updates of Microsoft DEVCON 2005
The things are going well for DEVCON and we got the final accpetance from the sponsors. I am planning to meet one of the sponsor in the evening and make final confirmation from them and take their sponsorhip details and their logos and make the work ready.
Some i hope if arun returns back all the things will go in more pace and we make DEVCON a grand success.

My activity on 28th
Today morning i met Pahni akka and Bavagaru who came from Vijaywada and then i went to my work and then in the afternoon Amrita from St.Anns had called me and she had asked me for a workshop in her college and she said she want it on 1st April and i said it is okay and i had confirmed it for April 1st 8:30 to 10:30 am and then i informed others also abt the Workshop and they all said it is okay for all of them and then i saw geetesh mail he said that the Logo that i had given to him of vasudeva wont be useful and he need a logo with high resolution and i contacted those guys and they said they will be sending me by EOD and then they had come up with a differant proposal and i had mailed the core abt their proposal and theni go the confrimation from other guys of the core also abt them and then i am planning to take the money from them and the sponsor part of DEVCON is okay.
Evening i went to Nani Mava's place and met ammama and then returened her the saree and then i took tamrind and then left to Kukatpally for peddamma's place and then we had discussion regarding the Africa Job things with chinni anna and we had nice biryani and then we had chat for some time and later peddamma informed a differant proposal, which i never expected and which needs approval from DAD and she asked my decsion and then i said it's upto my DAD to take such decsions and i dont have any thinking abt that. i left from peddamma's place at 10:30 and reached home.
Building VAL site
After the Core meet i went to saifi's place, then i had food and then we started building VAL site. and we had built upto certain extend and we made the basic template and we cld not set the format and settings properly. some saifi managed to get the Logo but we cld not get the same logo that is there on their site and then he made ceratin chnages to layout and somehow we had managed to make it okay. we need to make more changes to build it properly.
Microsoft User Group Core meet on 27th March
As today is sunday i have to go for MUGH Core meet so i woke up early and went to saifi's place as he had asked some of the books. i had given him the books and then went to MUGH Core meet at Cafe Coffee Day. By the time i had reached there MR.Anand From MSis there and other members present are Sudhakar from MS, Pratap from MS, Anjana from Satyam, Raghu from Brigade and Geetesh and Umesh.
We had discussed regarding the DEVCON which we are planning to organize on 10th of April. what are the works that each of us need to do and how much work had been completed. we had discussion on what we need to do with vasudeva sponsor as he is asking us a lot. and they are okay with us and we can go ahead we planned and then we had discussion regarding the Ineta sponsorship and we had discussion regarding the Speakers and the talk that are happening on that day.
we had discussion on the posters and T-shirts. how they shld be printed and what logos we need to keep on the T-shirt and how shld we plan with the banner and other things. the meeting lasted for about 4hrs and we had planned to meet next sunday i.e 3rd April as it wld be the crucial Sunday for DEVCON.
i was assigned the work to meet the sponsors and take their logo and get the money from them and other work like banner work and others.
Broad Band Dialer Work Started
We had started the Broad Band Dialer work and we are looking into the feasibility study of various dialers available in the market and come up with a dialer which has all the good features that are there in differant dialers and compatible with differant environments. Everyone of us are looking into differant dialers that are available in the market and i hope we can make the best dialer for the market.

My actvity on 21st
I was quite busy today in doing my Part of the work for DEVCON
From regular work i went to home at 2:00Pm and then i went Arun and collected the Printouts of Devcon Sponsors and then i went and met Naukri Branch Manager Mr.Niraj at 4:00 pm whom i met earlier and he said they had recently sponsored an HRD Conference after i met him earlier and he said he will get back to his head office in Noida if i can send him a soft copy and he will speak to his noida counterpart and get back to me. Then i had called arun and infromed to send him the softcopy of the sponsorship document.
Then i went and met reliance Web Worlds incharge Mr.Madhav and he had introduced me to Marketing Head of AP operations in reliance and i had discussion with him all the things that are happening and he said to me that they cannot sponsor money directly and if they want any
posters and scrible pads and files and some other material he wld help in that regard and i had informed him that we already got them and he said i will think of it and asked me to call him tommorrow evening so that he wld be informing his decision.
Later i went to Times of india Office where i met Times jobs incharge Mr.Joe and his response is good and he said he will get back to me by tommorrow after speaking to his counter parts so that he wld be infroming his decsion
Then i met one of Real Estate i.e Vasudeva Relators an NRI Funded company Organization. I had given the the document and they are quite positive and they said they will sending the soft copy to their MD in US and after getting his approval they wld convey their decision. they asked more abt the T-shirts sposorship what all we give them. can u give us some 5 min time to tell abt ourselves and they also asked will u give T-Shirts to all attendes or not.
Then i was completely tired by that time due bright sun and got to take rest for some time and then i went to saifi's place and took rest for some time and then i actually dont know the banner guy and he had took me to the banner guy we met the guy and i asked him a differant banner sizes and he suggested that a size 9*31/2 wld be good as he said more smaller one than this will not fit devcon logo and it wld not be good appearence and he said if u order it will take
atleast 3 days.
i asked him the rates and he said 200/- per meter and that will be on white silk cloth. he said he wld give us the coloured logos and all. one more thing he had asked is he want a colour print of the logos and the banner with that size costs 600/-. the guy name is Mr.Afzal. I took the contact number from that guy and i was very tired and want to have some food to get myself activated.
Then i and Saifi went to Darmakaran Road to have panipuri and some chat then saifi asked for info abt the car he is planning then i had called my cousin and i took saifi to his office and then they both had discussions and then wew had ice cream at masala then that was somewhat good and it gained some strength to me.
then i thought of completing my assignment for VAL and then i had mailed the MUGH Core and sudhakar and arun what all had happened and then i cld make up more time. i immedeiately reached home and slept.
It is very hectic these days to go out in HOT summer.
this completes the work assigned to me.
if u guys can confirm me with the banner and if we have colour print
of the document then that work we can order for that guy and
regarding the sponsorships i am waiting for the final word from all
the guys that i had met.

My activity on 20th March 2005
Went to saifi's Place at 9:00 am and met narender, radhika and Jilani discussed with them for some time and saifi is guiding them on their project in Dialer and i was there for some time and then went to Core group meet and then went to Core Group Meet and then returned back to saifi's place and took my books prepared for the WAP session and then had some food at saifi's place and then i went to ST.Anns College and then gave sesion on WAP for abt 5hrs and then i was completely tired as i was not acquinted to speak for such a long time and that too continously and then had some discussion with Amritha, HOD of MCA at St.Anns for abt an hr on differant topics and then we had some Cool drinks and snacks and then i left to home and we had partied with nice Chicken Biryani and Chicken curry and watched Bewafaa.
MUGH Core Meet
Today i went to Microsoft User Group Core meet at 10:00 am at Minerva Coffee Shop and it started at 10:30 and the other members present are Arun frm Accenture, Saurabh frm Microsoft, Pratap frm Microsoft, Sudhakar frm Microsoft, Geetesh, Umesh, rajasekhar and few other guys. the main motive of the meet is to discuss abt the DEVCON planned for next month 10th at Chip and the discussion went very well and everybody had come up with their ideas to make devcon a grand success and it was quite good and interactive. that lasted upto 12:00 noon.
My Talk on WAP at St.Anns
I gave 5 hrs talk at St.Anns College for women on WAP for the students today. it is quite encouraging as the girls actually know a bit of basics of XML and i can go a head in good pace and that went very well and i felt happy that their HOD and students are seriously writing to what i am saying them. I feel that's good. They even asked me a talk on the technologies i actaully work, i said if possible i would definetly do that. it wld be more help if u can suggest our students with ur experiences and i had a nice talk with HOD of the MCA department and she was quite impressed with my talk. thanks for the support from students and staff for requesting me for the lecture.

Guest Lecture on WAP at St.Anns College
I was requested by the HOD of St.Anns College for Women, Mehdipatnam to give a guest lecture on WAP to the students. she has been asking me since long time and i cld not make it up and some how i had accepted her proposal that i wld be giving it on saturday or sunday and she agreed to that, and today afternoon i am planning to give the guest lecture there in that college.
Participation at MESCO
I am planning to particpate at MESCO institute of computer science in the talk to be given by Saifi and Namita there. I along with narender are going to reach the place today at 9:30 am.
Planning to Upgrade one of System
I am planning to upgrade on of my Systems so that i can use them for other purposes but i when i enquired it is costing much. let's see how can i reolve this.
